Barnes Family Badge and Medal Collection:

A collection of badges, medals and other memorabilia, some of which are
on display, that have come into my
possession being inherited or purchased. Images have been
scaled to fit and do not represent the actual medal/badge size. All
medals and badges are originals, except where identified as
reproductions. None have any real monetary value, but many
have great sentimental value. Some are of historical interest now and
perhaps some might gain historical interest as the years go by.
The ARP badges dated 1936 and 1937 are hallmarked 'RJ' after Sir Robert
Arthur Johnson (1874-1938)
Deputy Master and Comptroller of the Royal Mint from 1922 to 1938.
ARP badges for 1938 and 1939 are hallmarked 'JC' for
Sir John Herbert McCutcheon Craig (1885-1977) - Deputy Master and
Comptroller of the Royal Mint from 1938.
